A new ligand, tris[(6-methyl-2-1pyridinecarboxylamide-N-oxide)ethyl]amine and its five rare earth(Ⅲ) complexes(RE=Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb and Dy) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance, spectral (infrared, 1H NMR, MS) and thermal studies. The results indicate they are 1: 1 electrolytes in DMF, and Eu3+ complexes that have bright red fluorescence in solid state.For comparison the intensity of sensitized luminescence for F u3+ increases in the following order L<L'[N,N'-bis(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarboxylamide-N-oxide)ethyldiamine]. This could be explained not only by the relative energy difference bet;ween the lowest triplet energy level of the ligands(T) and 5D energy level of Eu3+, but also by an excellent rigid planar structure.%合成了新的三足配体三[(6-甲基-2-吡啶甲酰胺氮氧化物)乙基]胺及其5种稀土离子配合物(Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy).通过化学分析、元素分析、电导分析、红外光谱、1HNMR谱、MS谱、差热分析对化合物进行了表征,确定了配合物的化学组成为[REL(H2O)2(NO3)2]NO3·2O(RE=Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy),并对配合物的荧光性质进行了研究.
