课内阅读部分的调整与取舍:《新编大学英语》(第二版)第二册第9单元

         

摘要

To make teaching more effective and suit the particular learners better, adaptations need to be made to the original teaching materials. In this paper, adaptations that can be made in the in-class reading section of Unit 9 of New College English (NCE), Book 2[1]have been discussed based on the theoretical principles in relation to materials adaptation. The strategies such as omission, addition, reduction, extension, rewriting, replacement, and reordering have been employed according to the teaching objectives.%<新编大学英语>(第二版)第二册提供了非常丰富的教学内容和活动.本文根据实际教学目的及学生需求,运用取舍和调整的相关理论,讨论了如何将课内阅读部分的课文阅读理解、词汇注释、课后练习整合为适合交际性教学需要的生动活泼的课堂活动.
