德国幻想文学大师米切尔·恩德以其丰富的想象力在《永远讲不完的故事》里构建了一个现实与幻想交错相融的双重世界。由于深受德国浪漫主义思潮的影响,恩德在作品中采用了很多具有神秘性的意象,这些意象涵盖了作品的主题意蕴。而在叙事方面,作者则采用双线交叉结构和元叙述模式,将现实与幻想紧密结合,使得文本结构层次更加多样化,由此作品也就具有了多元解读性。%The Never-ending Story（Die unendliche Geschichte） written by the German fantasy literature master Michael Ende（Micaed Ende）holds a complicated double world,in which both realistic and fictional characters exist and interact.Influenced by the German Romantic trend,the novel is rich in mystical images which imply the theme.Besides,the narrative structure of the story is distinctive,which not only has two narrative clues that overlap and integrate but also employs metafictive device to erase boundaries between reality and fiction.Therefore,this novel could be interpreted from multiple levels.
