在穿越秦岭的蜀道北段四道之中，傥骆道最为近捷，受到唐王朝的高度重视，多次整修道路，并在沿途置关、设驿，唐中后期，傥骆道尤为鼎盛，是官员商旅南入巴蜀的首要线路。五代两宋时期，傥骆道仍是重要的军事通道，其在经济方面的作用也日趋显现。元明清时期，傥骆道成为民间商道和山区经济开发之路，在促进陕南秦巴山区经济开发中起着极为重要的作用。%Among the four roads crossing Qingling Mountains in the northern Shu Dao ( ancient name of Sichuan road) , Tangluo Road was fastest and most convenient, and it was highly valued by Tang Dynasty. It was rebuilt many times, and checkpoints and courier stations were set along the way. In the middle and late Tang Dynasty, Tangluo Road reached its peak and became the priority access to Bashu region for officials and businessmen. During Five Dynasties, Southern and Northern Song Dynasties, Tangluo Road was still an important military passageway and its economic function began to appear. During Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it became the business road in folk and the road to develop economy in mountainous areas, which played an important role in promoting economy in Qin-Ba”s mountainous country in south of Shanxi.
