The present automatic and manual safety device, for installation on motorways, communicates by means of yellow lamps that flash once per second and via radio in the cabin of motor cars, that within a minimum of 300 m to a maximum of 600 m there is a thick fog or it is pouring with rain or snowing; it also gives a warning when the road surface is icy, or there is a strong wind or when road works are in progress. With a higher flashing frequency of 4 times per second, the device warns that the carriageway is blocked simply by slowing traffic or a queue, or a road accident.
