This paper analyzes the Guangzhou Panyu Polytechnic students to participate in the 2012 National College English Contest results, summarizes the organization steps of the English contest, summed up the inadequacies and to discuss how to improve students' comprehensive capacity to meet next year's contest.%本文分析了广州番禺职业技术学院学生参加2012年全国大学生英语竞赛结果，总结组织此次英语竞赛的经验，归纳不足之处以及讨论如何提高学生综合能力迎接下一年的竞赛。
