好的小说是用诗做的--品帕特里克·莫迪亚诺《缓刑》

摘要

This article refuses to use any theory, which is a special case in all my papers.To me, Patrick Modiano, the Nobel Prize winner in 2014, was eligible for the award long before that time. It is not difficult, for those who are familiar with Gao Xingjian's winning works Soul Mountain and A Personal Bible, to find that Gao's works were greatly influenced by Modiano's. Whatever the influence, I like Patrick Modiano's concise and poetic language. His Oscar-winning films, whether it is Lacombe Lucien, Rue des Boutiques Obscures, Youth cafe or Stranger, all revealed a special period of emotional ecology in the face of violence. For example, in the film "Lucien", when the stained Jewish woman lifted the stone and stood before her lover who was sleeping at the time, the pauses of the narrative and poetic words being used make the reader realize:violence in front of emotion is so weak; any kind of it cannot conquer the emotion. Another example is the Rue des Boutiques Obscures, which presents how the amnesiac detective solve his identity problem and bring back to his mind his past love story from the faint light or the piece of old cloth. If many plots from Nazi-period works could be listed as moving or impressive, then that of Modiano's Probation could be described as heart-shaking: the child's innocent narration sunk deeply into the author's heart, which made a dull pain in the soul. And this article is intended to be a worship to the"pain".%本文是笔者研究性文章中的特例，拒绝使用理论，凭心灵自由地靠近文字。2014年诺贝尔文学奖得主帕特里克·莫迪亚诺，他早就有资格获得这样的奖项。如果熟悉高行健的获奖作品《灵山》和《一个人的圣经》，会发现莫迪亚诺对高行健的影响很大。但笔者更喜欢帕特里克·莫迪亚诺简洁如诗的语言。无论是获奥斯卡电影奖的影片《拉孔布·吕西安》，还是《暗店街》、《青春咖啡屋》、《陌路人》等，皆呈现出一种特殊时期面对暴力的情感生态。比如，“吕西安”影片中当被玷污的犹太女子举起石头伫立于情人睡态前时，叙述如诗的停顿，让读者明白：暴力在情感面前其实匮乏而虚弱，任何一种暴力都不可能征服得了情感！再比如《暗店街》中一个失忆侦探在遥遥的光影或者一张陈旧的脚踏布中如何破获自己的名字身份还有依稀的爱情。纳粹时期的作品有许多情节打动读者，但莫迪亚诺的《缓刑》可谓震撼心灵：一个孩子懵懂无知的叙事，深深扎进笔者心底，使灵魂隐隐作痛。本文是对这“痛”的祭拜。
