时间副词"一直"与"从来"在形式和语义等方面既有相同点也有不同点.句式上,"从来"常用于否定句中,不能用于祈使句.句法结构方面,"一直"带非持续性动词、"了"和"过"均有条件限制,"从来"不能带单个动词、单音节动词、"了"、时间词和某些副词.语义上,"一直"具有"持续、客观、具时"的语义特征,"从来"具有"历程、主观、泛时"的语义特征,这也很好地解释了二者形式上的不同.语用上,二者出现频次差异较大的原因在于后者的限制条件较多.本文还尝试从韵律角度解释"从来"句的某些特征.%The time adverbs "always" and "never" in the form and semantic aspects, there are both similarities and differences. Sentence, "never" is often used in negative sentences, and cannot be used in the imperative sentence. In terms of syntactic structure, "always" take non-durable verbs, "never" can't take a single verb, word denoting time, and some adverbs. Semantically, "always" has the semantic characteristics of the "continuous and objective", "never" with "course, the subjective" semantic characteristics, it also explains the different forms of the two. Pragmatics, both in the frequency of the cause of the differences is the latter more restrictive conditions. This paper also attempts to from the perspective of rhythm to explain some of the characteristics of "never" words.
