探究应用语言学理论指导下大学英语教学与实践

Improve the quality of English teaching is not only is the goal of education workers, also is the need of social development, social development need highly qualified English talents, this puts forward new requirements for college English teaching. In the process of social development, the theory of applied linguistics has been continuously completed, plays out in the teaching practice of English more and more important role. How to applied linguistics theory under the guidance of find a suitable for Chinese college students' English teaching method, improve students' English learning ability and enthusiasm, is a new challenge to teachers of English to the university.%英语教学质量的提高不仅是教育工作者的愿望，也是社会发展的需要，社会发展需要高素质的英语人才，这就为高校英语的教学提出了新的要求。在社会发展过程中，应用语言学的理论得到了不断的完善，在英语的教学实践中发挥出了越来越重要的作用。如何在应用语言学的理论指导下探索出一条适合中国高校学生的英语教学方法，提高大学生的英语学习能力和热情，是给广大大学英语教师提出的新挑战。
