基于虚拟仪器的纸币识别与计数实验系统研究

             

摘要

Currently,the method of currency recognition and counting is mainly based on image pro-cessing and its corresponding algorithm.As a result,it is difficult to be used as an experimental system for the students,especially for the ones of mechatronic engineering.Therefore,an experiment system banknote identifying and counting is developed in this paper,which is based on the virtual instrument. This system contains the color sensor,data acquisition card and the corresponding software,which is designed through LabVIEW.The hardware structure is simple,and it is helpful for students to under-stand the principle of the paper currency recognition based on color and to realize the experimental pro-j ects of paper currency identification,counting and other functions.Experimental results show that the method is feasible and can accurately complete the identification and counting of the currency value.%当前纸币识别和清点的研究方法主要是以图像处理及其算法设计为主,难以应用在机电类学生的实验系统中。为此,基于虚拟仪器开发了集纸币识别和计数为一体的纸币识别计数实验系统,利用 LabVIEW平台开发了后台软件,并与颜色传感器、数据采集卡构成整套实验系统,其硬件结构简单,有助于学生了解基于颜色进行纸币识别的原理和实现纸币识别、计数等功能的实验项目。实验结果表明,该方法切实可行,能够准确完成纸币币值的识别和计数。
