论林语堂《生活的艺术》中的休闲美学思想

摘要

在勃兴的生活美学的视野中，文章选取作为生活美学重要组成部分的休闲美学这一视角，重新审视了林语堂和他的名著《生活的艺术》，进而通过中西文化对比，凸显了休闲美学的丰富内涵：亲近自然，乐生达观，热爱世俗生活，追求缓慢闲雅的生活情致，提倡中庸和谐的精神。在当今西方文化大行其道，并时时对社会和个体的生命造成伤害的时代背景下，林语堂的休闲美学思想顺应了新的时代潮流，有利于维护人们的身心健康，显示出重大意义。%This paper rereads Lin Yutang and his masterpiece TheImportance of Living from the perspective of leisure aesthetics which is a vital component of the thriving "Life Aesthetics".In addition, a comparative study is made between Chinese and Western cultures so as to shed light on the abundance of leisure aesthetics which includes intimacy with nature, optimism, love of secular life, pursuit of ease and elegance and enjoy-ments, and the spirit of moderation and harmony.As a prevailing trend in the west, it conforms to the times and often brings traumas to the society and individuals and it plays an important role in maintaining people's health both physically and mentally .
