基督教教会学校的发展对近代河南社会的影响

摘要

The Protestant church developed education industriously in order to enlarge more believers since modern times in Henan.Church elementary school and church school increased rapidly.Women＇s education and medical education also appeared.This promoted education development in Henan to some certain extent.The Missionary school cultivated a number of essential personnel for the social and economic development of Henan,The missionary school also played an environment role about social cultural changes and the evolution of concept of the people in Henan.But the protestant church＇s idea which christianized China by developing education failed at last.%近代以来,基督教为了扩大信徒,在河南大力发展教育,教会小学、中学迅速增多,女子教育和医护教育也开始出现,这在一定程度上促进了河南教育发展。教会学校为河南社会经济发展培养了一批必需人才,也对河南社会文化变迁以及民众观念的演进起到了潜移默化的作用。但是,基督教教会通过办教育实现基督化中国的设想最终失败。
