河南高校开展ESP教学的必要性及课程理论视阈下ESP课程构建研究

2.British &American Literature Research Center,Henan Agricultural University,Zhengzhou 450062,China) The newly formulated College English Teaching Guide has incorporated English for special purposes (ESP)into the College English Teaching System,which will have a significant impact on the direction and con-tent of College English teaching.Henan Province is located in the Inland,and due to its current situation of Col-lege English Teaching,the demand of the rapid development of its export-oriented economy for internationalized talent,the realistic situation of bilingual teaching and professional English Teaching in colleges and universities, and the self-development of college English teachers,the exploration and practice of ESP curriculum teaching should be carried out as soon as possible.From the perspective of curriculum theory,the following problems must be solved to carry out the teaching of ESP course:in the formulation of teaching objectives,“virtual”must be combined with “real”;teaching content and teaching evaluation involve the combination of “internal”and“external”;curriculum and teaching organization involve the combination of “soft”and “hard”.%新制订的《大学英语教学指南》将专门用途英语纳入大学英语教学体系,此举对大学英语教学方向与教学内容将产生重大影响。地处内陆的河南从大学英语教学的现实状况、外向型经济快速发展对国际化人才的需求以及高校内双语教学与专业英语教学的现实情况到大学英语教师自身的发展都需要我们尽快开展 ESP 课程教学的探索与实践。在课程论视阈下,开展 ESP 课程教学需解决好如下几个问题:教学目标制定方面要“虚”与“实”相结合;教学内容与教学评估要“内”与“外”相结合;课程开设与教学组织要“软”与“硬”相结合。
