中国电信行业市场势力与效率:基于NEIO方法的实证研究

         

摘要

基于NEIO方法构建了一个结合市场势力效应与规模效率效应的模型,利用2002-2011年间中国省际电信业面板数据进行实证分析,可从市场结构这一角度来分析电信业高速增长这一事实。研究发现,中国电信业存在较高的市场势力且市场势力效应占主导,表明电信业绩效较多地是通过市场势力获取的,即通过其行政垄断特权地位获得较高收入,2008年重组合并后进一步增强了市场势力效应。同时电信业也呈现规模经济特征,但规模效率效应对行业绩效的影响却并不明显。%The rapid growth of Chinese telecommunications is derived from market power or efficiency improvement.This paper attempts to analyze the fact of high-speed growth from the perspective of the market structure.Based on the NEIO method to c onstruct a model with market power effect and scale efficiency,Using the provincial panel data from 2002 to 2011.This paper finds that Chinese telecommunications possesses highe market power ,market power effect dominant influences telecommunications performance,Earns high income by the administrative monopoly privilege.And the merger strengthened the market power effect in 2008.Telecommunications industry also presents the characteristics of economies of scale,but the scale efficiency effect is not obvious.
