基于SOPC技术的IPv4/IPv6转换网关的设计

         

摘要

作为沟通高速IPv4、IPv6网络的关键设备,协议转换网关对转发速度、时延、负荷量等性能有很高的要求,目前的方案都无法完全满足这一要求,为此提出了基于SOPC技术实现IPv4/IPv6地址协议转换网关的新方案.在实现过程中,基于自顶向下的设计思想,采用原理图和VHDL语言相结合的设计方法,在单片FPGA器件上实现该系统;系统仿真和实验表明,系统的转发速度最高达到800 Mbps、在v4到v6方向和v6到v4方向上的时延分别是40 ns、96 ns.%As the key device of IPv4-IPv6 heterogeneous network intereonnection,an IPv4/IPv6Translation Gateway has to support high forward speed,less time-delay and bearing heavy communication load.However,there is no existing solution published to satisfy the requirement.In this paper,a solution of IPv4/IPv6 Translation Gateway based on SOPC (System on Programmable Chip) technology is proposed.It is based on top-down design methodology.VHDL programming and schematic design are both used in the development course and the system is implemented on one FPGA chip.Test results show that its maximum forward rate is 800 Mbps and its delay time is 40ns from v4 to v6 network,and 96ns from IPv6 to IPv4.
