PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put out the same IPv4 address to a plurality of terminals connected, respectively, with different edge devices.;SOLUTION: An edge device 20 is installed between a terminal 50 to which an IPv4 address is given, and a host 10 to which an IPv6 address is given. The conversion function unit 21 of the edge device 20 performs interconversion between the IPv4 and IPv6. A surplus field value for use in conversion from the IPv4 address to the IPv6 address of the terminal 50 is a unique value different for each edge device 20.
