The core of her poetics,“Die erfundene Wahrnehmung”, is engendered through her unrivalled way of perception and cognition, as well as the resulting singular ways of expression. All this is reflected in some surreal met-aphors she created in the afore-said novel. An analysis of the genesis and workings of these metaphors helps reveal and deepen our understanding of her poetic mechanism. It is concluded that her practice of achieving surreal effects by combining irrele-vant images into coined words is her brand of exploration of the depth and complicity of humanity.
