There are a large number of small rivers distributed in many regions of our province, which are polluted by the factories, domestic sewage and waste for a long time. It is important to pay attention to the environment disruption. As the rivers are blocked, stuck and occupied seriously, these problems should be solved as soon as possible. The key points of the river regulation are respecting the river nature and restoring the river ecology that is damaged. The river management is a closely connected to the environment. In this paper, the writer uses Dongguan Canal Renovation Project to discuss the small rivers' existing problems and solutions.%我省中小河流分布地域广、数目多,长期受到工厂、生活污水、废弃垃圾等污染,对环境的破坏不容忽视,河道堵、卡、占现象严重,对其的治理工作已经迫在眉睫.尊重河流自然属性,对被破坏的河道进行生态修复已经成为河道治理的重点所在,对河道的治理,需更注重与环境之间环环相扣的关系.以笔者所参与的东莞市运河整治工程为例,对中小河流存在的问题和治理进行讨论.
