In the present study, human IL-2 gene wastransferred into human erythroleukemic cell line K562 bythe retroviral vector LYCN. The effects on theproliferative activity of the IL-2-gene-modified K562 cells(K562/IL2) were studied. 18 Days after transduction, flow cytometry analysis indicated that (K562/IL2)accumulated at phase G2. By day 30, the portion ofK562/IL2 was low at G0/G1, but still high at G2.
