Tumor cells may escape immune surveillance mainlyby (1) down regulation of major histocompatibilitycomplex (MHC) molecules or alteration of antigen-processing pathways; (2) low-level of cytokines in thevicinity of the tumor, which can’t activate immunosystemeffectively.
