Objective:To observe the effect of Peitu Sheng jin acupuncture therapy on COPD and the function of respiratory muscle and pulmonary function. Methods:63 patients were divided into treatment group(n=32) and control group(n=31). Both groups were given conventional therapy while treatment group were given an addi⁃tional Peitu Sheng jin acupuncture therapy besides. The comprehensive curative effect,index of respiratory mus⁃cle fatigue,lung function,bood analysis of both groups were observed. Results:The total effective rate of treat⁃ment group was 87.50%,which was higher than that of the control group(58.10%). Index of respiratory muscle fatigue,lung function of control group did not improved(P>0.05). FEV1% of treatment group were did not im⁃proved compared with the results before treatment(P>0.05),while MVV,MIP were improved(P<0.01). The lev⁃el of FVC,MVV,MIP of treatment group were better than those of control group(P<0.01). Besides,after treat⁃ment,PCO2 decreased a lot(P<0.05)while PO2 increased markedly(P<0.01),which was better than that of con⁃trol group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Peitu Shengjin acupuncture therapy can significantly ameliorate the syn⁃dromes of patients with an acute exacerbation type of COPD as well as the fatigue state of respiratory muscle. Additionally.This method is safe and will not increase any burden of drug intake,thus,is worth promoting.%目的：观察培土生金针灸疗法对慢性阻塞性肺疾病（COPD）的综合疗效及对呼吸肌、肺功能的影响。方法63例患者随机分为治疗组（32例）和对照组（31例）。对照组采取常规COPD急性加重期治疗，治疗组在对照组常规治疗基础上，加以培土生金针灸疗法，20 d为1个疗程，间隔10 d后继续下一个疗程，连续2个疗程。观察其综合疗效、呼吸肌疲劳指标及肺功能、血气分析的变化。结果治疗组总有效率87.50%高于对照组的58.10%（P<0.05）。对照组治疗后呼吸肌疲劳指标及肺功能未见明显改变（P>0.05）；治疗组FEV1%与治疗前比较变化不大（P>0.05），而MVV、MIP与治疗前有改善（P<0.01）。治疗组治疗后FVC、MVV和MIP较对照组改善显著（P<0.01）。治疗后治疗组PaCO2较治疗前下降明显（P<0.05），而对照组未见明显变化（P>0.05）。治疗组治疗后PaO2较治疗前升高（P<0.01），且高于对照组（P<0.05）。但两组治疗后pH无明显改变（P>0.05）。结论对于缓解COPD急性加重期患者的症状及呼吸肌疲劳有显著作用，且该疗法不增加患者的服药负担，安全可行。
