东莞是外向型经济的典型。经过实证研究,发现东莞金融发展与经济增长之间虽然存在长期均衡关系,但这种关系却是单向性的因果联系,即金融发展促进了东莞经济增长,但是东莞经济增长对金融发展却没有显著的推动作用,意味着在东莞经济转型的背景下,东莞金融发展机遇良好,潜力巨大,同时也面临着产业转型所提出的严峻挑战。%Due to the special economy pattern,exchange rate has huge effect on the export-oriented economy in which Dongguan is the typical one.This paper,from the respect of employment and wage,using the two-sector theoretic model and collecting the sample data from 1992 to 2008,makes the empirical study with the basis of co-integration on the effect of RMB＇s real effect exchange rate（reer） on wage and employment of Dongguan＇s trade and non-trade sector.The test finds that reer is negatively related to the employment in the trade sector and positively associated with the employment in the non-trade sector,also reer has positive effect on the wage both in trade and non-trade sector of Dongguan.Because Dongguan is representative of export-oriented economy,the result in this paper can reflect the effect of the change of reer on the employment and wage in these areas to some extent,and this paper holds the point that the gradual appreciation of RMB＇s reer is beneficial to the economic transformation and upgrading in these areas.
