当代人名常用的修辞方式及反映的社会文化变迁

Contemporary parents name their children using rhetorical devices like metaphor,collapses,hom-ophonic sound,and hyperbole,which not only enrich but also deepen and beautify the semantic connotations of these names. Simplification and one-letter names reflect the fast-paced life of people of today's society;choo-sing elegant and reserved word to name without following"word generation spectrum",birth horoscope and yin-yang five elements ,and using some rarely used words to name,reflect the open thinking and psychology of pres-ent people. The naming of contemporary children reflects the development of the society and the change of people's psychology.%当代人名普遍采用了比喻、节缩、谐音、夸张的修辞手法，这些艺术修辞方式既丰富又彰显美化了当代人名的语义内涵。当代人名的简单化及呈现的一名化，反映出当今社会人们的快节奏生活；男女取名用字的界限淡化和母亲姓氏进入命名现象的增多，表现出当代人们性别意识发生变化；注重选用文雅含蓄之字命名，不再遵循“字辈谱”、生辰八字和阴阳五行定名，以至使用一些生僻字取名，均反映出当代人们个性创新的开放思想和心理。当代人名反映了当今社会文化的发展和人们心理的变迁。
