Objective To investigate the effect of different surgical treatment on foreign body in the posterior segment. Methods Forty-seven patients ( 47 eyes ) diagnosed with foreign body in the posterior segment from January 2007 through January 2010 were retrospectively reviewed. These patients underwent different surgeries, including eletrolyzer magnetic extraction and vitreetomy extraction, according to different types of the foreign body. The extractive rate of foreign body and postoperative visual acuity were observed. Results The extractive rate was 90％ by eletrolyzer magnetic extraction in 20 eyes and was 100％ by vitreetony extraction in 27 eyes. The best-corrected visual acuity after two weeks postoperatively was light perception ( LP ) in one eye, hand movements ( HM ) in 2 eyes, finger counting ( FC ) in 4 eyes, 0.05 ～0.1 in 10 eyes, 0.2 ～0.4 in 19 eyes, 0.5 or better in 11 eyes. The visual aeuities were better than the preoperative ones in general. Conclusion In the treatment of foreign body in the posterior segment, it is important to choose eletrolyzer magnetic extraction and vitrectomy extraction according to the nature, position and complication of the foreign body. Vitrectomy is the optimal choice for complicated intraocular foreign body.%目的 观察不同手术方式摘除后段眼内异物的临床效果. 方法 对2007年1月至2010年1月间在我院住院治疗的47例(47只眼)后段眼内异物的患者进行回顾性分析.根据异物的性质、部位及眼内并发症采取不同的手术方式摘除异物,包括巩膜外路磁吸术及玻璃体切除异物取出术,观察异物摘除的成功率及术后的视力.结果 20只眼巩膜外路磁吸术异物摘除的成功率为90%,27只眼玻璃体切除术异物摘除的成功率为100%.术后2周的最佳矫正视力:光感1只眼,手动2只眼,指数4只眼,0.05~0.1者10只眼,0.2~0.4者19只眼,0.5以上者11只眼,总体视力优于术前.结论 对于后段眼内异物,根据异物的性质、部位及眼内并发症可采取巩膜外路磁吸术和玻璃体切除异物取出术,其中玻璃体切除术是治疗复杂性眼内异物的首选方法.
