In the myth of western Chongqing, the author emphasizes that the modern folk literature is the breakthrough of the traditional literature as possible. Es-pecially the presumption that myth is the science and philosophy of the forefathers shows that “the Myth of Western Chongqing”is beyond the field of literature, promoting the study of myth into a wider and grander field.
