化学类论文图形摘要的主要类型及设计技巧

摘要

A graphic summary is the intuitive figural outline of the scientific research result, which is an important supplement to the textual abstract. It is widely used in the online publication of scientific journals. Graphic summary origins in Chemistry periodical, and is currently being used by a large number of domestic and international chemistry journals. Because the chemistry paper contains a lot of chemical structure, chemical reaction equations and various spectra, it is difficult to explain clearly through textual abstract only. With the assistant of graphical summaries, information transmission efficiency of the periodical can be greatly improved. Based on investigation of large quantities of chemical periodicals with graphical summaries, this paper summarized several main types of graphical summaries of the Chemistry periodicals: structural graphic summary, process graphical summary, and radical graphical summary. Besides, the designation skills of all these graphic summary types are all illustrated by examples.%图形摘要是科技论文主要调查结果直观形象的图形概要，是文字摘要的重要补充，被广泛应用于科技期刊的在线出版中。图形摘要起源于化学类期刊，目前被国内外大量化学类期刊所采用，是因为化学类论文内包含大量的化学结构式、化学反应方程式及各种谱图，这些内容仅依靠文字摘要很难阐释清楚，借助图形摘要可以大大提高期刊的信息传播效率。基于大量化学类期刊论文图形摘要的调查研究，总结了化学类期刊论文的图形摘要的几种主要类型：结构类图形摘要、过程类图形摘要及发射状类图形摘要，并运用具体实例阐述了不同类型图形摘要的设计技巧。
