对老舍《小坡的生日》研究的解读

摘要

Little Po’s Birthday is always the least known work of Lao She, much less in research field.Why? Yet, on the basis of combing a variety of materials in English World, this paper intends to solve the puzzles by applying the methodology of literature comparison.The argument of almost all the researchers involved about the genre may be regarded as a key, revealing that the essence is an argument of the ideology.In this level, more researchers may follow the track of the former study of work Cat Country, and explore it’s value, in replacement of the existing simple view.%老舍小说《小坡的生日》在研究史上一度被冷落。在梳理英语世界相关研究的过程中，对照国内研究，试图解决这个有趣的谜题：《小坡的生日》何以被边缘化？中西学者的论争是在对这个问题做出解答；而体裁之争的实质是意识形态之争。在这个层面上，研究者不妨参照西方《猫城记》研究个案，拓展视域并加强挖掘深度，而非囿于一隅，方能最大限度呈现小说的文学史价值。
