翻译过程中的自动加工——图词干扰范式下的语义自动激活

         

摘要

Two picture naming experiments were designed and performed of English-Chinese and Chinese-English translations with the Picture-word Interference Paradigm under three levels of distracter words (semantically relat⁃ed vs. semantically unrelated vs. zero). In the English-Chinese translation, the naming language was Chinese for English distracter word; in the Chinese-English translation, the naming language was English for Chinese distracter word. It was found that naming reaction time of pictures with two dimensions of picture and distracter word was lon⁃ger than that of pictures with one dimension of 0 distracter word, which shows the subjects’automatic activation, retrieval and processing of semantic meaning of the distracter word in spite of their effort of ignoring its interfer⁃ence. This proves the automatic processing in translation.%  采用认知心理学图词干扰研究范式,用E-Prime心理实验编程软件设计英译汉和汉译英条件下三种水平干扰词(语义相关干扰词vs.语义无关干扰词vs.0干扰词)的图画命名实验.英译汉条件下,命名语言为汉语,干扰词为英语;汉译英条件下,命名语言为英语,干扰词为汉语.结果发现,含有干扰词和图画2个信息维度的图画命名时间均长于不含有任何干扰词的1个信息维度的图画命名时间;被试在尽量忽略干扰词的情形下进行图画命名时,干扰词语义信息仍然被自动激活、提取和加工,反证翻译过程中存在自动加工现象.
