Zijiangjun is a new purple eggplant F1 hybrid by taking inbred lines PEP08-K8 and PEP08-5 as female parent and male parent respectively. It is mid-maturing, and its growth period is 117 days. It is upright with strong branching ability. The fruit is long and clavate with round head and glossy dark purple peel. The fruit is 23.5 cm in average length, 4.9 cm in average diameter, and its average weight is 145 g. The total soluble sugar content is 3.05%, and the protein content and vitamin content are 1.17% and 49 mg/kg respectively.
