Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate radial artery wall morphology in individuals with coronary heart disease by very high ultrasound biomicroscopy.Methods:The thickness of each layer in the proximal,middle and distal segments of the right radial artery in 103 coronary heart disease patients was observed and measured by 30-55MHz (VHFUBM) and 18MHz (HRU).We evaluated the feasibility of using a 30-55-MHz VHFUBM to measure the radial artery wall morphology by compared with HRU.Results:The high-frequency ultrasonic probe of VHFUBM showed superiority in the clear display of the wall structure compared with the standard-frequency probe of HRU,allowing for measurement of intima separately from media and adventitia.Conclusion:The distal segment of radial artery intima-media thickness (IT),intima-media thickness (MT) can be measured independently with a high degree of reproducibility using VHFUMB.This technology may allow for early detection of vascular disease and exploration the injury mechanism by providing more pathological i and functional changes of vascular wall.%目的:探讨超声生物显微镜评估冠心病患者桡动脉血管壁形态学的诊断价值.方法:分别应用超声生物显微镜(VHFUBM 30-55MHz)和普通高频超声(HRU 18MHz)观察并测量103例冠心病患者右侧桡动脉近心段、中段、远心段管壁各层厚度.通过对比分析探讨VHFUBM评估桡动脉血管壁形态学的可行性.结果:VHFUBM的高频超声探头与HRU的标准频率探头相比在管壁结构的清晰显示上具有优越性,内中外膜可分辨出内膜、中膜、外膜单独进行测量.结论:VHFUMB对桡动脉远心段内膜厚度(IT)、中膜厚度(MT)的测量准确可靠,这项技术将通过提供血管壁损伤更多病理和功能改变的资料以探索血管疾病的损伤机制.
