北京时间2017年9月6日,拉斯克奖获奖者名单公布.基础医学奖授予瑞士巴塞尔大学的Michael N.Hall教授,以表彰他发现了营养活化的西罗莫司靶蛋白(target ofrapamycin,TOR)及其在细胞生长代谢调控中的关键作用.临床医学研究奖授予美国国立癌症研究所的Douglas R.Lowy教授和John T.Schiller教授,以表彰他们为预防宫颈癌及其他肿瘤而开发的人乳头瘤病毒(human papillomavirus,HPV)疫苗所带来的技术进步.公共服务奖授予美国计划生育联合会,以表彰该机构在过去超过一个世纪的时间里为数百万妇女提供必需的健康服务和生殖保健服务.%In September 6,2017,the list of winners of the year's Lasker Awards were released.The Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award honors Michael N.Hall from University of Basel,Switzerland,for his discovery of the nutrient-activated target of rapamycin (TOR) proteins and their central role in the metabolic control of cell growth.The Lasker ～ DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award honors Douglas R.Lowy and John T.Schiller from the National Cancer Institute,whose technological advances enabled the development of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines,which prevent cervical cancer and other tumors.The 2017 Lasker ～ Bloomberg Public Service Award honors Planned Parenthood for providing essential health services and reproductive care to millions of women for more than a century.
