非线性光学玻璃研究进展

     

摘要

With the development of photonic communication, all-optics devices are necessary. The re-alization of all-optics devices depends largely on the preparation of suitable materials. Within the mate-rials, Glasses with high nonlinear optical susceptibilities have a lot of advantages and become unreplaca-ble photonic materials. This paper reports nonlinear optical phenomena in glass, method of measure-ment, nonlinear optical glass materials and method of preparation. Heavy-metal oxide glasses( HMOglasses) which are characteristics of high figure of merit because of high nonlinear refractive index andshort response time are predicted to be a focus of studies%对玻璃中的非线性光学现象及其测定方法、非线性光学玻璃材料的种类和相关的制备方法进行了介绍.其中,重金属氧化物玻璃由于非线性折射率高、响应时间短且有较高的综合品质示性指数而有可能成为研究的热点.
