體与禮:佩玉践形与儒家神话礼仪

         

摘要

"礼"本质上是一种负载于人"体"叙事的象征符号,"礼"与"体"的实践与信仰,是"礼"的发生学探讨不可忽视的观察视点。文章对儒家思想系统中的"體"、"禮"与"鸣玉以相"、"佩玉践形"等语词隐喻与行为意义进行了知识考古式发掘,发现体、礼与玉在儒家礼乐身体实践,乃至上古宗教仪式中形成了三位一体的关系,即外體(身体仪容)——礼与玉(媒介)——内德(神圣力量),从而揭示礼仪诞生的动力源泉,以及神圣礼仪和世俗道德间的根源联系,为"礼"之发生探源提供一种新的阐释。%"Etiquette"is essentially a narrative symbol laden on human"body".The practice and belief of"etiquette"and"body"are observable points which cannot be ignored in genetics exploration of"etiquette".This paper makes an archaeological excavation on"etiquette","body",and the metaphorical meanings of such phrases as"ringing jade to show etiquette","practicing etiquette by wearing jade"and so on.It finds that body,etiquette,and jade is a trinity in the Confucian ritual practice of the body,and even in ancient religious rites.The relationship is shown as below:external body(bodily appearance)——etiquette and jade(mediums)——internal moral(holy force).The paper thus reveals the power source of the birth of rites,and the source link between holy rites and mundane morals,which provide a new explanation for the exploration into the birth of the"etiquette".
