Objective To study whether α-synuclein in plasma and saliva can be used as biomarkers for PD. Meth-ods Thirty-five PD patients served as a PD group,and 25 subjects undergoing physical examination served as a control group in this study. The total α-synuclein in plasma and saliva was was tested by ELISA. Results The Salivary alpha-sy-nuclein level and Plasma alpha-synuclein were significantly higher in PD group than in control group(P<0.05).The area under ROC curve was 0.695 when Plasma alpha-synuclein was used as a biomarker for PD(P=0.003)with a cut-off value of 157.86 ng/L,a sensitivity of 68.6% and a specificity of 72.0%. The area under ROC curve was 0.785 when Salivary alpha-synuclein was used as a biomarker for PD(P=0.00)with a cut-off value of 211.14 ng/L,a sensitivity of 82.9% and a specificity of 80.0%. Conclusion The salivary alpha-synuclein level and Plasma alpha-synuclein may become a periph-eral biomarker for PD.%目的 研究帕金森病(PD)患者血浆及唾液中α-突触核蛋白的浓度能否作为帕金森病的外周生物学标记物.方法 选择患者35例(PD组).健康者25例(对照组).α-突触核蛋白通过ELISA方法检测.结果与对照组比较,PD组血浆α-突触核蛋白浓度较高,而唾液中较低,在血浆中α-突触核蛋白作为PD标记物的诊断中,ROC曲线下面积为0.727(P=0.003),最佳临界值为157.86 ng/L,敏感性为68.6%,特异性为72.0%.而唾液α-突触核蛋白作为诊断指标,ROC曲线下面积为0.785(P=0.00),最佳临界值为211.14 ng/L,敏感性为82.9%,特异性为80.0%.结论 血浆及唾液中α-突触核蛋白浓度可作为帕金森病诊断指标,有望成为诊断PD的外周生物学指标.
