邓小平生态思想是邓小平在领导全党和全国各族人民进行中国特色社会主义建设实践过程中，立足于中国特殊国情，在全面继承和发扬中国传统生态思想和马克思主义科学生态观的基础上形成的；它倡导人与自然和谐相处、共同发展，反对滥砍滥伐；倡导经济增长方式集约型，反对粗放型；倡导依法建设，反对无法乱建。邓小平生态思想的提出，对于我们当前进行生态文明社会建设具有重要的理论意义和实践价值。%While leading the whole Party and the people of all nationalities to undergo the socialist con-struction with Chinese characteristics, Deng Xiaoping′s ecological thought has come into being based on the special national conditions of China as well as the comprehensive inheritance and promotion of Chi-nese traditional ecological thought and the scientific ecological view of Marxism. It advocates the harmoni-ous existence and mutual development between human and nature while objecting to deforestation. It appreciates the intensive economic growth pattern rather than extensive pattern. It also propagates the construction according to law rather than against law. The proposition of Deng Xiaoping′s ecological thought is of great theoretical and practical value to the construction of ecological civilization nowadays.
