Based on the data of land-use quantity and structure change and the main socio-economic development indicators on regional-scale, using correlation analysis,fitting analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis,an exploratory research that quantitatively analyzed the relationship between land use and socio-economic development in Shaanxi Province was made. The results showed that the land-use change in Shaanxi Province has promoted the improvement of socio-economic benefits, the main socio-economic development indicators are increasing in exponential and binomial curve respectively, and the results of quantitative analysis showed that the land for construction has significant relevance with the socio-economic indicators compared with other land use types,which means that the land for construction plays a crucial role in the socio-economic development, accordingly some strategies and suggestions are given for how to satisfy the construction demand of socio-economic development and to reach the rational allocation of land resources in the region.%以1997～2007年陕西省的土地利用数量、结构的变化以及主要社会经济指标的发展变化数据为基础,运用相关性分析、拟合回归和多元线形回归分析,对定量化分析区域土地利用和社会经济发展的关系进行了探索.结果表明,陕西省土地利用的变化促进了社会经济效益的提高,主要的社会经济指标分别呈指数和二项式形式增长;定量化分析结果显示,与其他土地利用类型比较,建设用地与各社会经济指标具有较强的关联性,说明其在社会经济发展中发挥着至关重要的作用.在此基础上,对如何实现社会经济发展对建设用地的需求并达到区域土地资源的合理配置提出了相应的对策和建议.
