Objective] The aim was to explore the stress reaction mechanism of celery seedlings in response to stress under different concen-trations of PEG-6000.[Method] Different concentrations of PEG-6000 were used to study the effect of PEG-6000 treatment on physiological and biochemical characteristics of celery seedlings.[ Result] The chlorophyll content decreased, while many characteristics increased, such as the peroxidase activity, the malondialdehyde (MDA) content, the free proline content, the soluble sugar content and the soluble protein content.However, under different treatment concentrations, the change trends of every character were also different.[ Conclusion] The results provide theoretical basis for dealing with effects of drought on crops and vegetables.%[目的]探讨不同浓度聚乙二醇( PEG-6000)处理条件下芹菜幼苗响应胁迫的应激反应机理。[方法]通过用不同浓度的PEG-6000处理土壤来研究水分缺失程度对芹菜幼苗生长过程中某些生理生化指标的影响。[结果]随着PEG-6000浓度的增加及处理时间的延长,叶片的叶绿素含量下降,过氧化物酶活性急剧升高,可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白质、丙二醛、游离脯氨酸含量均增加。但不同浓度PEG-6000处理条件下,芹菜幼苗各项指标的变化趋势也有差异。[结论]试验结果为生产实践中应对干旱对农作物、蔬菜等的影响提供了理论依据。
