长埠-西云山向斜南北长12 km ，东西宽3．6 km ；含煤地层为二叠系乐平组。主煤层赋存于乐平组老山下亚段和官山上亚段之中，含煤地层厚度大，含煤层数多，煤层薄但较稳定。向斜开阔、舒缓、近椭圆形，轴向北东20°；两翼出露不对称，东翼宽西翼窄，属短轴不对称向斜。整个长-西向斜可能是一个＂船状＂箱型褶皱，边平帮陡底缓，乐平煤系在长-西向斜＂船帮＂中下部到＂船底＂均赋存有可采煤层。%Changbu-Xiyunshan syncline is 12km long from north to south and 3 .6km wide from east to west with coal-bearing strata of permian Leping group .Ooccurring between Laoshan lower formation and Guanshan upper formation of Leping group ,the coal-bearing strata of main seam has the characteristics of large thickness with many layers and thin but stable seam .Syncline is wide ,slow and deliberate ,ellipse and axis is northeast 20° .Two wings asymmetrical outcropping ,east wing wide and west wing narrow ,syncline belongs to short axis asymmetrical syncline .The whole Changbu -Xiyunshan syncline may be a "boat -shaped" box fold .Located from the lower part of the "side"to"bottom"of Changbu-Xiyunshan syncline ,Leping coal series is occurrence and there is workable seam .
