The frequency pre-division method , the phase detection frequency measurement method and the multi-period synchronization method in the filed of broad band frequency were combined. A high detection preeision was reached in the range of 2 Hz to 6 GHz. The frequency meter module has three input channels , high,middle and low channel. The function circuit and the control circuit were designed in the CPLD. The soft operation panel based on the popular PXI bus , which adopted the virtual instrument technology,was used in this frequency meter. The validity of the method is proved through simulation and experiment.%在宽带频率范围内首度将预分频法、相检测频法和多周期同步法相结合,在2 Hz~6 GHz的范围内实现了较高精度的频率测量.频率计模块采用高、中、低3个输入通道,功能电路及控制电路在复杂可编程逻辑器件CPLD内完成.该频率计模块基于PXI总线,采用虚拟仪器技术设计了仪器操作软面板.经过仿真和实验,验证了该测量方法的正确性.
