Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) plays an important role in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) in China. i low to evaluate its efficacy needs further research. The evaluation on clinical efficacy of TCM cannot simply depend on laboratory indicators, and should focus or: quality of life and survival lime. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is the basic characteristics of Chinese Medicine, but the syndrome differentiation cannot take the place of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, TCM treatment of CHB should concentrate on the core pathogene sis, and combine treatment based on disease differentiation with treatment based on syndrome differentiation. From the perspective of TCM, disease location of CHB is the spleen, and the core pathogenesis is that deficiency leads to accumulation.%中医药在我国慢性乙型肝炎的治疗中占有重要地位,如何评价其确切疗效有待于进一步研究.对中医药疗效的评价不适宜单纯使用化验指标,应重点关注对生活质量和生存时间的评价.辨证论治是中医学的基本特点,但辨证分型不能代替辨证论治.中医药治疗慢性乙型肝炎,应该抓住核心病机,辨病论治与辨证论治相结合.从中医学角度,慢性乙型肝炎的病位在脾,核心病机是由虚损导致的积聚.
