Zigbee technology and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology are combined together in order to design an experimental equipment management system and provide an intelligent management platform. Unified management and maintenance for laboratory equipment are provided. Environmental parameters of laboratory equipment is monitored, text messages is sent to both the person responsible for the equipment and the current user to do the appropriate processing in exceptional situation.
