With the development of the times, urban spatial structure has also changed. Loss of the original production function, old factory building itself and its interior space has provided a brand new possibility for today's urban renewal. Facing this possibility, how to renovate the existing space, and create an application and economic space to accommodate the needs of the new function. This article takes the renovation practice of Hunan Army provisions service center of Zhaoshan for example, from the different characteristic in space between the single-storey and multi-storied industrial building, the article discusses the issue need to be noticed in the conversion process of the old and new function, and how to emobody the principles of sustainable, in order to explore general ways to the old factory space.%随着时代的发展,城市空间结构也在发生着变化.老旧厂房在原有生产性功能丧失之时,其本身及其内部空间就已经为当今的城市更新提供了一种全新的可能性.而面对着这种可能性,又应该如何对已有的空间进行改造,创造出适用和经济的空间,以适应新功能的需要.该文以湖南军粮昭山服务中心的改造实践为例,从单层和多层旧厂房在空间上不同的特点和新旧功能转换过程中应该注意的问题以及如何体现可持续的原则这些方面着手,探索老旧厂房空间更新的一般方法.
