浅析英汉文化差异下的习语翻译

摘要

Idioms are familiar and liked by people in both Chinese and English.Owing to the living environment,customs,religious belief and history,English and Chinese idioms show great cultural difference lying in these two languages.This article simply expresses some translation methods of English and Chinese idioms,which can make people get to know the development of language culture and the evolution process of different peoples and better implement the transformation and communication between languages.%无论是在汉语还是英语中,习语一直以来都为人们所熟悉和喜爱。由于生存环境、习俗、宗教信仰及历史典故等方面的原因,英汉习语体现了两种语言间的巨大文化差异。本文简单提出了几种英汉习语的翻译方法,以期使人们领略不同民族语言文化发展和演变的过程,更好地实现语言间的转换与交流。
