In view of lack of unified standards for random variables for analysis on reliability of the transmission tower,this paper introduces improved variable distribution model for reliability calculation according characteristics of the transmission tower and its wind loads especially influence of wind vibration effect. It calibrates reliability indexes of the tower compo-nents based on this improved model and compares calibration results obtained from other variable models.Corresponding re-sults indicate there are significant differences among reliability indexes from these models and sensitivities of the reliability indexes on parameters of variable models of wind loads are higher.It indicates variable parameters based on civil architec-ture statistics are not appropriate for transmission tower structure.%输电杆塔可靠度分析所涉及随机变量的取值缺乏统一标准,根据输电杆塔及其所受风荷载的特点,尤其是考虑风振效应的影响,改进了杆塔可靠度计算所需的变量分布模型,并基于此改进模型对杆塔构件可靠性指标进行校准,再与基于其他变量模型得到的校准结果进行对比.结果表明:基于不同变量模型得到的构件可靠性指标值有明显区别,且构件可靠性指标对风荷载变量模型参数的敏感性较高,因此通过民用建筑统计资料所推断的变量参数不适用于输电杆塔结构.
