The method involves determining a characteristic of an influencing variable (9) based on a driving request. A brake torque of a vehicle (1) is controlled depending on the influencing variable, where increase of the influencing variable reduces the brake torque and vice versa. A default value (mv) of another influencing variable (Mh) is controlled during driving. A reaction variable (13) is determined based on the influencing variable (Mh). The default value of the influencing variable (Mh) is adjusted depending on the reaction variable. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a servo control.
