The automobile brake pad typically comprises the basal body binders, reinforced fibres and frictional additives, fillers. Each specific friction material is generally composed of several to over a dozen of functional compositions, but the performance, proportions, physical and chemical state of the components will affect the material performance. Carbon fiber composite braking block is a type of friction materials made of carbon fiber as reinforcing material. In this paper, the char-acteristics, advantages, effect of the carbon fiber reinforced composite material used in the friction materials for automobile brake pads were analyzed.%汽车刹车片主要是由基体粘结剂、增强纤维以及摩擦性能调节剂组成。对于每一种具体的摩擦材料一般都是由几种到十几种组份组成,每种组份在其中都会起到一定的作用,而且各组份的性能、比例、物理化学状态都会影响摩擦材料的综合性能[1]。本文将从汽车刹车片摩擦材料所用碳纤维增强复合材料的特点、优势、使用效果方面进行分析。
