On the basis of traditional casting technology, two gating system of casting were provided. The casting process numerical simulation is conducted with Pro/E and ProCAST software, the filling of axle box, and temperature fields and flow fields during solidification were simulated. And the casting process of the axle box was optimized. The results indicate that numerical simulation can solve technologic problem and create huge economic benefits.%在传统铸造工艺设计方法的基础上,设计出两种轴箱铸造工艺方案,以Pro/E为前处理平台,以ProCAST为数值模拟平台,对轴箱充型、凝固过程的流场、温度场进行了模拟,选出最优方案.结果表明,通过工艺参数的优化,可有效避免铸件出现缺陷,提高产品经济效益.
