This paper introduces the impacts of low carbon economy on transportation industry, including the effect of con-cept, low carbon transport low carbon economy to the transport sector. Low carbon economy requires promoting the single mode of transport efficiency, low carbon economy requires optimization of transportation structure and low carbon economy requires effec-tive regulation of transportation demand.
