Pickering乳液聚合法制备聚丙烯酸酯/纳米SiO2复合乳液及其在涂料中的潜在应用

     

摘要

A Pickering emulsion with good stability was prepared using nano-silica (SiO2) modified by hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) as stabilizing agent, and then used to form a polyacrylateano-SiO2composite emulsion by emulsion polymerization. The polymerization conditions were optimized by evaluating the monomer conversion, size and distribution of particles, film formability, as well as other properties. The SiO2particles, emulsion and its cured film were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer, thermogravimetric analyzer, scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, and minimum film formation temperature (MFFT) tester. The composite emulsion has small particle size, good stability and a MFFT of 32 ℃. Its cured film has a 1-grade adhesion strength, pencil hardness up to 3H, and good resistance to water.%以六甲基二硅胺烷(HMDS)改性的纳米二氧化硅(SiO2)为稳定剂制备了稳定性良好的Pickering乳液,再通过乳液聚合法制备了聚丙烯酸酯/纳米SiO2复合乳液.通过单体转化率、粒径、成膜性等指标对乳液稳定聚合的条件进行了优化.采用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪、热重分析仪、扫描电镜、透射电镜和最低成膜温度测试仪对SiO2粒子、乳液和乳胶膜进行了表征.该复合乳液粒径较小,稳定性良好,最低成膜温度为32 ℃,以其制备的胶膜附着力达到1级,铅笔硬度可达3H,耐水性良好.
