The construction of eco-civilization is an important part of socialist construction in China, and its achievements are related to the cultivation and effective implementation of the concept of sustainable development. In his report to the Nineteenth National Congress, President Xi Jin-ping pointed out that the construction of eco-civilization is an important content that affects our country and the global ecological environment. Clear ideas and measures to solve the people's needs for a better life and development imbalance between the contradictions. This paper expounds the relationship between ideological and political education and eco-civilization, and analyzes the role of modern ideological and political education in the construction of eco-civilization. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the modern ideological and political education and the construction of eco-civilization.
